Details of Various Options
1. BLOWER
Four types of blowers are available as described below
Type BT 1 : KPT make, 350 watt, brush type, AC/DC motor, continuous duty, Free Flow Capacity : 1.8 M3/mt, solid state speed regulator
Type BT 2 : KPT make, 600 watt, brush type, AC/DC motor, continuous duty, Free Flow Capacity : 2.2 M3/mt, solid state speed regulator
Type BL 1 : Brushless 0.75 hp AC motor, belt driven, continuous duty, Free Flow Capacity :2.5 M3/mt
Type BL 2 : Brushless 0.5 hp AC motor, direct driven, Low Noise, continuous duty, Free Flow Capacity : 2.0 M3/mt
2. Flow Measurement System
The air flow is not directly measured, instead it is inferred from the differential pressure measured across the orifice plate installed at the blower exhaust. Two types of devices for measurement of the differential pressure and the corresponding flow computation methodology are available.
Type FM 1 : U-tube manometer along with a calibration graph of dp Vs. Flow
Type FM 2: Solid State pressure sensor, an internal look-up table and digital display *
3. Electronic Control Module
The electronic control module is the brain of a sampler. It controls the operation of the sampler. Different models provide different mixes from among a host of functions including timing, time totalizing, flow measurement, temperature and pressure correction, blower speed control, volume computations and user interface etc.
