Application

Model PEMSVM 1 is an On-line Stack Velocity Meter which provides digital display of linear velocity in ducts / stacks. It employs the methodology suggested by EPA / ISS for measurement of velocities in stack. It computes the stack velocity at the point of location from the measured parameters, which include differential pressure across a  'S'  type pitot tube, Stack gas temperature and Stack gas pressure. When measurements at multiple traverse points are taken, it automatically computes the average velocity. The data can be transferred on to a  PC through the RS-232 serial port.

Model PEMHVK 1 is a simple instrument, which facilitates accurate and precise measurement and display of Stack temperature and differential pressure of a pitot tube installed in a stack / duct. It includes an electronic stop watch for timed measurements of the parameters.

Construction

PEM-SVM 1 comprises a control module and sensors for measuring pitot dp, stack gas pressure and stack gas temperature. The control module along with the solid state pressure sensors are housed in an elegant  cabinet with ABS casing.  

PEM-HVK 1 comprises an elegant cabinet made of ABS plastic and houses the solid state pressure sensor and all the electronics for signal processing and display.
