  Application  

Model PEM-PGS1 B Portable Gas Sampler and Model PEM-HAS1 B Handy Air Sampler are battery operated, compact and light weight samplers,which are designed for monitoring air quality on shop floor, ambient environment and sion from fume hoods, ducts etc. Model PEM-PGS1 M and Model PEM-HAS1 M are the corresponding mains operated versions of these samplers.

Model PEM-PGS2 M is a higher flow version of Model PEM-PGS1 M.  

Each Portable Gas Sampler consists of a sampling train of 3 impinger tubes and a 3 way valve manifold for independent control of flow in each impinger tube. This facilitates simultaneous sampling of 3 gases.  

Each Handy Air Sampler is similar to a portable gas sampler described above except that its sampling train comprises 2 impinger tubes with single flow control for both tubes.  

All samplers fully comply with the requirements of Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi.

 Construction  

Each sampler comprises a sampling train, a sampling pump, a rotameter for measuring flow; a flow controller and a microprocessor based electronic timer cum time totalizer. Suitable reagents can be placed in the impinger tubes for entrapping specific pollutants of interest. The impinger tubes are housed in thermally insulated thermocole housing. 

Each sampler is made of corrosion free Stainless Steel and houses all the components and subassemblies.
